Information About Semen Analysis ? |

Principle: Semen analysis is critical part of a fertility work-up. It is essential both in the evaluation of infertile couples and in the assessment of fertility in males whose sperm production is suppressed by toxic agents or anti-fertility substances.
Appointments are given to the patient after seeing Dr. Gandhi. Make sure you keep your appointmens. One chance is given to change but otherwise you get charged for the second change. At least 2 to 3 business days are required to change the appointment.
Sample Required: Seminal fluids are accepted only on routine working days between 7:30 am to 8:30 am.
Patient Preparation:
1. No sexual intercourse for three (3) to five (5) days preceding test.
2. Collect the specimen in the container provided, by means of masturbation.
3. Do not use a condom.
4. Write your name, time of collection and date on the container.
5. If you have any questions, please discuss them with the Laboratory staff.
