Fee Information

Infertility treatments can vary greatly from patient to patient as well as from cycle to cycle. This variance makes it difficult to predict costs per treatment cycle. Some of the factors that lead to this variance are as follows; the type of procedure the doctor chooses for your particular situation, the drug regime that is prescribed and some diagnostic tests the doctor may require that are not covered by OHIP or other insurance plans. Patients who are not covered by the Ontario Provincial Health Plan must pay all of their costs themselves. We will provide receipts, which you may then wish to use to acquire any reimbursement, that your province or private insurer may offer or a federal tax credit Prices quoted are for Canadian residents only. It should be noted that most infertility investigations and treatments are covered by provincial health insurance in Canada. Sperm Wash (for 2 consecutive days in one cycle) $ 500.00 In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF) Non Insured Treatment cycle (Includes procedure & laboratory fees) $ 5950.00 With Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) add $ 1150.00 With epididymal or testicular sperm extraction (Note: this feel is independent of urologist's fee) $ 450.00 (Above prices do not include the cost of Medications) Hepatitis B or C cases add $ 850.00 If your cycle is cancelled there is a non-refundable fee of $ 1700.00 In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF) OHIP Insured OHIP will cover IVF procedure fees for patients with bilaterally blocked fallopian tubes for a maximum of three cycles. IVF Laboratory fees* (Procedure fees are covered by OHIP) $ 3900.00 With Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) add $ 1150.00 (Above prices do not include the cost of medications) If your cycle is cancelled there is a non-refundable fee of $ 1000.00 *Note that some clinics receive government subsidization for IVF laboratory fees. Ask your doctor about the differences.
